Civil Engineering Review
The Civil Engineering Review is performed by the engineering department within the jurisdiction of your project. This review looks specifically at the Civil Construction Documents (CD’s) which detail the site grading, utility connections, stormwater, management, and general best practices for site construction.
Typically, this review is performed in conjunction with the planning application. However, some jurisdictions require planning approval prior to commencing the engineering review. Similarly to the planning application phase of the project, the design team will receive comments from the engineering team which you’ll need to respond to.
