Troy Kirschman, NCARB, AIA
Owner/Architect
A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Troy brings over 25 years of architectural experience to the architectural and development industries. His knowledge of site development and building design have proven invaluable in helping clients realize their vision, work through the local municipal approval process and develop documentation and support necessary for construction.
Troy has a passion for architecture and the built environment. Your vision becomes his vision. With his strong leadership skills and a proven track record, he and his team will make every effort to make your next project successful.

Phil Walz, AIA, NCARB
Project Manager
Philip Walz joined Hover Architecture in 2017. He started his career as a graduate of Texas A&M University and gained his first architectural license in 2002. With NCARB certification, he is currently licensed in a number of states, and has completed projects in many more states. He has worked on projects ranging from multi-million dollar airports, K-12 schools, government projects, office buildings, industrial complexes, to a variety of commercial and residential projects. He is a technical architect and is happy digging into the details and the individual specifics of projects.
He has lived in Colorado since 2007 with his wife, 4 sons and a small pack of animals. He spends much of his time leading Boy Scouts on many Colorado Adventures, loves cooking indoors and out and tackling DIY projects.

Mark Brazee
Project Architect
Mark joined Hover Architecture in 2021. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon and obtained his architectural license in 2010. He is a LEED professional, experienced in developing sustainable projects and is active with the USGBC. He’s also an Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP). His previous experience includes hotels, government, schools, and office buildings. Hover looks to leverage Mark’s broad technical and management experience in successfully completing future projects.
Mark has lived in Colorado since 1994 with his wife, two children and one cat. He enjoys spending time with his family and riding the roads and paths of Colorado on his bike

Christian Tidwell
Designer III
Christian earned his B.S. in Architecture from Arizona State University. He has experience in a variety of construction projects ranging from 600,000 SF mixed use complexes in urban Washington to custom residential projects in the Sonoran Desert and utilitarian chicken coops in rural Africa. Christian brings experience in designing responsible and sustainable buildings that relate to the existing environment. His unique perspective of project development enhances the overall design and the ultimate success of our clients.
Outside of the office, Christian is the doting father of two daughters, a hobbyist vegetable gardener and a volunteer genealogical consultant.

Aubrey Marsh
Executive Assistant
Aubrey earned her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Biola University. She is passionate about helping people communicate more efficiently. She brings a wide variety of experience in customer service, scheduling, and management to Hover. As Executive Assistant, she provides support through organization, critical data and communication inside and out of the company. She is always adapting to take on new challenges that come her way.
Aubrey has lived in Colorado since 2001 and loves spending time with her husband and dog Briscoe. She knows that time with family is always well spent.

Jeff Lane
Designer II
Jeff has earned two A.A.S. degrees in Architectural Drafting and Digital Design and Animation from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. He has 17 years of experience in projects ranging from a 150,000 SF High School in rural Arkansas, a seven story multi-family residential apartment building in the heart of Denver, to custom 10,000+ SF homes in central Arkansas. Jeff brings experience in designing all types of buildings with an eye for the smallest detail in the largest scope of projects. He likes to visualize buildings and components from the inside out, giving him a unique ability to see challenges and opportunities that may arise during future phases of the design and construction process.
Jeff is a recent immigrant to the greater Denver Metro area. Growing up in Tucson, he spent many visits with family in Colorado Springs, Glenwood Springs, and Denver area and has always wanted to relocate to Colorado. He is married and has two children, 14 and 4, and loves spending time outdoors with them. Jeff is an artist, an avid reader and loves to bike and play golf.

Abdul Zia
Drafter II
Abdul Raouf Zia was born in May 1990 in Afghanistan. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the Engineering Faculty of Kabul University. Kabul Engineering Faculty is the first technical institution in Afghanistan that has been under the financial and academic support of Kansas state university since 1953.
After graduation from the faculty of engineering in 2014, Abdul Raouf has worked as associate architect and architectural designer in the construction projects of the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S embassy in Kabul and public benefit projects of the Afghan government. In August 2022 after the fall of Afghan government and political situation in Afghanistan, he and his family were moved to the state of Virginia and then resettled to state of Colorado in the city of Denver.

Scott Leader
Job Captain
Scott earned his B.A. in Philosophy from The University of Southern California. He enjoys critical thinking and keeping organization within projects. He brings a wide variety of experience in customer service, teaching, and project management to Hover. As Job Captain, he provides project support through organization, scheduling and deadline management, and removing obstacles that hinder project success.

Perry Gautam
Designer II
Perry, also known as Yuvraj, completed his undergraduate studies in Architecture and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Chitkara University in India in 2020. Throughout his professional career, he has contributed to numerous custom-designed residential and commercial projects in both Washington State and India, with project sizes ranging from 1,200 to 22,000 square feet. With a deep understanding of modern design and project management techniques, he has played a crucial role in the success of each project, delivering bespoke solutions that meet the unique requirements of every client.
Perry has gained valuable international experience and has a deep passion for traveling, hiking, and immersing himself in different cultures around the world. He has explored numerous countries and regions, each with its own unique history, traditions, and landscapes, and has developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our planet. His love for adventure and discovery has enriched his personal life and provided him with a wealth of experiences that inform and inspire his work.

Andrea Morton, NCARB, AIA, LEED AP
Project Architect
With over 25 years experience guiding projects from initial design through construction. Andrea is well versed in the team building, coordination, and negotiation required for successful outcomes. A graduate of Cornell University, her portfolio includes a wide range of project types from the 190,000 SF Crystal Bridges Museum with Safdie Architects to higher education projects, DOTI and USPS on-call contracts, chef-driven restaurants, and single-family homes.
As a LEED Accredited Professional since 2006, Andrea coordinated sustainability documentation and procured commissioning contracts as a member of the design team for the Crystal Bridges Museum.

Rick Hsieh, NCARB
Project Architect
Rick Hsieh has recently joined the Hover team with over two decades of experience with a wide range of spectrum of projects from multi-family residential to major transportation projects. He was an integral part of the architectural team for the major expansion of Denver International Airport concourse A and B, which included additional domestic and international gates.
Rick graduated from CU-Denver with his Master of Architecture and is licensed in Colorado. Rick also has three years of overseas experience as on-site architect for AICI-SP, an international construction company for a brand-new American embassy compound in Taipei. While in Taipei he also managed a small team of four members while working on two new train stations in the city of Kaoshiung.

Joseph Erazo
Designer II
Originally from Ecuador, Joseph is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, where he received a master’s degree in Architecture. He brings over five years of international architectural experience to the team. Throughout his career, Joseph has worked on various projects, from five-star hotel remodels to constructing a hospital in the Ecuadorian Amazon. He’s passionate about creating remarkable designs that enhance people’s lives and is excited for the opportunity to bring his skillsets to Hover.
Outside of the office, Joseph likes to go hiking, off-roading, and sample breweries with his wife Lindsay and adorable pup Milo.

Kelly Perez
Designer I
Kelly earned her B.S. in Science of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver. She mainly has experience in residential architecture with projects spanning nationwide as well as some experience with culinary/interior design. Her experience with projects of a smaller scale enhances the attention to detail we prioritize for our clients at Hover.
Kelly is a Colorado native who loves spending her free time being active outdoors and enjoys running away with her friends to a beach at any opportunity she gets.

Richard Agyei
Designer I
Richard was born in Ghana but moved to Colorado with his family in 1997. He graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a B.S. in Architecture in 2019. Richard has worked as a BIM Modeler / Coordinator, modeling in 3D commercial masonry projects across the country. He has worked on both new builds and renovations on a wide variety of projects including universities, office buildings and the expansion projects at both LAX and DIA. He is optimistic and passionate about the design process and gets satisfaction from seeing a project come to fruition.
When he isn’t in the office, Richard loves traveling and engaging in outdoor sporting activities, with a special love of soccer. He loves going hiking and enjoys photography.
