PROJECT SUMMARY
This self-storage project is located on 4.3 acres in Monument, CO and includes temperature-controlled, drive-up and RV storage buildings with plenty of additional area left for exterior RV storage. This facility provides a unit mix specifically developed for this rural part of Colorado. The main structure is three-stories, with a central office and luxury manager’s residence providing 24-hour security to 70,338 SF of temperature-controlled storage. Convenient gas and water services on the property making it easy to retrieve your RV and get it ready for your next excursion.

The main structure was designed using cost-efficient, load-bearing, light-gauge metal stud framing and combination concrete-metal deck floor systems. The use of insulated metal panels for the exterior envelope not only helped the design team meet thermal requirements but significantly decreased construction time. Thanks to Kingspan, each 30’ long panel extended all three stories with just one panel, creating a seamless wall finish.
