PROJECT SUMMARY
For over 30 years, Great Scotts Eatery has provided the best diner experience in Colorado! When it came time to relocate, Hover was brought on to design a new restaurant for the next 30 years. The Client envisioned a modern take on the 1950’s traditional diner. On the exterior, the building’s signature “fin” harkens back to the diner era with an adjacent glass block entrance, quarter-barrel metal “fender” and a low-profile dining area typical of that era. Smooth metal panels replaced the traditional stainless-steel wall panels and were used throughout the design to create a modern look.

Inside, red and white vinyl booths, stainless-steel wall panels and period pendant lights were selected. A fully-programmable “neon” light cove wraps around the dining area and the events area, also known as the Cadillac Room. A juke box, movie posters and memorabilia complete the design.
