PROJECT SUMMARY
The Colorado Auto Wash project is a welcome upgrade of the Frank’s Classic Clean Cruisin’ Car Wash site in Arvada. The existing 1,767 SF, 4-bay, self-serve wash was replaced with an 80’-0” state-of-the art express tunnel wash facility. On a 26,767 SF lot, this is undoubtedly one of the smallest lots we’ve seen developed and certainly one of the most efficiently designed!
The building design incorporates a CMU structure including the wrap-around screen wall along West 64th, a necessary design element that provided a path to development of this lot. Hollow-core roof panels, architectural metal wall panels and barrel-vault tower were incorporated in this modern, low cost design.
Aslan Corporation’s general contracting services greatly simplified the construction process, especially given some of the infrastructure challenges that arose during construction. Their assistance with the coordination and installation of the conveyor pit, car wash equipment and low-voltage systems was a crucial component of this project’s success!
